Flea Market Guide
If you are to make the most of your day at the flea market, it is imperative that you plan your visit meticulously. Be prepared for these eventualities. Do not forget to bring along a bag or a trolley to facilitate handling of purchased items. Taking along an inexpensive cart that fold up and fit into the trunk of your car would solve the burden of carrying around the things you purchased.

Do not forget to wear good walking shoes if you do not want to end your buying spree early. If you get tired walking it would be wise to walk to the very end of the vendors first and then work your way forward. You will have a wider choice of new products if you start at the back. You can treat yourself to both weekend as well as weekday flea markets. As the number of visitors to the flea market gets lower during the week, the number of vendors also becomes less. You can never know for sure when is the best time of day to obtain the best price deal. It is possible to ask for a lower price than what the vendor is offering.
If you arrive early, you can choose from the available good before anyone else. If there are specific items you have in mind, this would be the best strategy. You will not get the best price during this time of the day, though.
The end of the day, vendors will be lenient towards prices as they wish to sell off whatever that is still remaining. Most vendors would prefer going home carrying as little merchandise as possible. If you could take the risk, you can wait until the end of the day to get the lowest prices. There is a risk of someone snatching it before you could get it.
Try negotiating for the lowest price. Simply ask the vendor the lowest price and try to arrive at a mutual decision. Mention a price and see if they are willing to accept it. Hold the money you have to offer in your hand.
