The fire marshal is an expert firefighter, who oversees everything that has anything to do with fire safety, prevention, protection, and emergency preparedness fire safety measures and also supervise drills, seminars, lectures, discussions, and trainings to make employees more knowledgeable and skillful in this area. Apart from that, he is also in-charge of checking safety equipment such as extinguishers, smoke detectors; hose, and so on, to see if they are in the right place, if they are working, and if they are in top condition besides carrying out emergency procedures such as evacuation of people in the building. Remaining calm during panicky and stressful situations is the key quality of an expert fire marshal.
