Dream Trip To Disneyworld Florida!

Mickey Mouse Minnie Mouse
So to summarize, I'm embarking on my destiny to become the true Disney Princess that I am...

Can I just get something out of my system? I'M GOING TO DISNEYWORLD!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay I'm over. I swear no more outbursts....maybe. 11 weeks today I fly out to Florida for a 2 week holiday!!In case you may or may have not noticed, I'm really excited. Like really excited. I'm probably the small 1% of the population that has NEVER been to Disneyworld, Disneyland and so on. I know I know, pray for my childhood. But seriously its like a squillion pounds (maybe a slight exaggeration) and if it wasn't for my amazing Dad paying for a large chunk of this big family holiday, I probably wouldn't ever make it there so kudos to Dad!

Flights are booked, villa is booked, park tickets are booked (I may have had to sell an organ to afford it) and now it's a case of being sensible for the next couple of month to save for my holiday. So no new handbags for me damn it

Having never been to Orlando I really have no idea what to expect. In fact, if I am totally honest, I have never been to a theme park or ridden a rollercoaster. I know, you're probably thinking 'Well why the hell have you bought park tickets?!'. Besides the fact that I need to meet my Disney heroes, boot Cinderella out of the castle and retake my claim on the iron princess throne, if there is anything the past 12 months has taught me, life is way too short to be afraid of stuff (apart from Spiders, you should ALWAYS be afraid of spiders). So I'm going to put on my big girl knickers, suck it up and board those horrific rollercoaster rides. Yes knowing my luck I'll probs die and be a new lyric for Alanis Morissettes 'Ironic' but at least I can say I was facing my fears. Plus the fact that park tickets are more than a mortgage, If I'm paying for something that could have been a new designer handbag, hell I am LIVING on those rides to get my moneys worth.

Visiting Florida isn't just about the theme parks, that's 50% of it. I'm a wild girl at heart and I am absolutely desperate to get out into the Florida wilderness and see some nature reserves, swamps and so on. I also have a really big desire to see an Alligator in the wild....with a lot of space and maybe a fence between me and said Alligator. Stupidly the boyf and myself have been Netflix binging on Dexter of recent and we now have a really twisted view of Florida that there are serial killers on the prowl and we're going to either be killed by one or an Alligator. Easily influenced you say? Nah.

Jokes aside, I need your help! I've made a list of everywhere I want to go in Florida and somehow find a way to condense it into 2 weeks as follows:

Disneyworld: Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios
Universal: Universal Studios, Island of Adventure, Volcano Bay
Florida Mall
Florida Outlet
Kennedy Space Center
A Florida Beach
A Florida Nature Reserve/Park

I ask you people of the internet, Is there anywhere else I MUST go and secondly, does ANYONE have any Florida blogs and vlogs? Please tweet them to @lbeldreams or leave them in the comments below!

Send me yo links folks!

11 weeks till I'M GOING TO DISNEYWORLD! #SorryNotSorry

  1. Ahhhhhh!! Girl, I am so jealous. Granted, I did have the chance to go to Florida with our Thomson holiday but I decided against it (I know, shoot me?!) in favour of guaranteed sun, sand and no crowds. 1 day though! Either that, or I'll just live through your blogs.... PLEASE SAY YOU'LL BLOG EVERYTHING when you're home xx

  2. Eeek! You will have such a great time, Florida is my favourite place! I'm hopefully going back to Miami and Orlando in December. We went for nearly 3 weeks and didn't get to do everything I wanted to! Make sure you book your Fast passes for Disney World - It'll be so helpful and get to the parks early to beat the majority of the crowds.
The Malls and Outlets are amazing, Mall at Millennia and the International Premium Outlet near Universal. I've got Blogposts and Vlogs on my blog if you are interested :)

  3. Ah have fun! One of my favourite things about Orlando (well, it was my favourite thing!) was going to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. I literally cried when I walked through the gates!

I'd also really recommend going to Epcot as well because that place is like nothing I've ever seen before.
