Stila Eyeshadow Discovery

stila eyes are the window

Don't you love it when you discover an incredible make up brand? A few months before Christmas myself and my gal pals had a girly night in. In true cliche style this included wine, chocolate, facials and make overs. No you haven't just wondered onto the set of a 80s teen movie. One of my friends is a make up pro and has a make up collection every girl dreams of. From Dior to Tom Ford, you name it, she has it. Needless to say we took it in turns fight over whose make up she did next.

Rummaging through the vast treasure box of make up I discovered a Stila ' Eyes Are The Window' eyeshadow palette and just had to try it. Needless to say I was blown away by the metallic shades and instantly added it to my Christmas list. Being a good girl an all, Santa bought me Stila. I say Santa, I actually mean my very kind parents.

I adore this eyeshadow palette. One thing I always look for is an eyeshadow that can last all day and it most certainly does. Combined with the Urban Decay Eyeshadow Prime, it doesn't smudge or budge unless you make it. The colours blend well and have that subtle sparkle making it extra special. I don't know about you but I do love a glittery eyeshadow. Yes I may be terrible at applying it and establish myself as an Edward Cullen wannabe but its alllllll about the glitter (until your boyfriend asks why your face is so sparkly...)

I also love the range of colours. My favourites are the champagne like shades combined with either the golds or with the greys. This palette is brilliant for doing smokey effect eyeshadow as well as providing subtle day wear looks as well.

Since owning this eyeshadow I have become fixated with the Stila brand. I'd never heard of Stila Cosmetics before and was even surprised to stumble across it in my local M&S. I'm desperate to try other Stila products now as this eye shadow palette is such good quality and I would say worth the price!

Have you ever tried Stila Cosmetics before and if so what would you recommend?
